Osmomat 030 Cryoscopic Osmometer
2009 marked the 30th Anniversary of Gonotec Osmometers, a company with which Gallay Medical & Scientific P/L are proud to share a long and successful history. Gonotec’s industry benchmark Osmometers have been proudly manufactured in Germany since they began instrument production back in the 1970's.
Gonotec's commitment to an outstanding level of quality throughout their business has gained them wide spread respect from osmometer users and admiration from their competitors. Today, Gonotec Osmometers continue to embody the faultless craftsmanship and pride of manufacture for which German products are recognised around the world. Gallay Medical & Scientific P/L look forward to the next decade of partnership with Gonotec Osmometers.
The Gonotec Cryoscopic Osmometer is used for the determination of osmolality in aqueous solutions in the medical field. This osmometer has 3-point-calibration. Therefore requirements of the European Pharmaceutical industry are met. Besides the necessary 0-point-calibration, the instrument can now be calibrated at two further points. This enables to extend the calibrated range with its excellent linearity considerably. All OSMOMAT 030 units are equipped with this option and it can be selected in the calibration menu. We offer the corresponding calibration standards: 100 mOsmol/kg, 300 mOsmol/kg, 850 mOsmol/kg and 2000 mOsmol/kg.
Gallay has also published a Technical Paper covering the different types of Osmometers available, their many applications and various methods of use. To download a copy of the Technical Paper, please click here.
