Asepti Release Plus is a pH neutral, phosphate free, non-corrosive low foaming multi-enzyme detergent for cleaning endoscopes and reusable medical instruments.
The Triple based system of Asepti Release Plus removes all body soil components including proteins, lipids and carbohydrates and provides detachment and removal of biofilms.
Suitable to use with all brands and models of endoscopes and is compatible with all MIS and robotic instruments, martensitic and austenitic surgical steels, aluminium, anodised aluminium and colour coded titanium instruments and components.
Asepti Release Plus complies with AS/NZS 5369:2023 and GENCA requirements and is classified as non-hazardous.

Directions For Use

Manual Cleaning

For routine manual reprocessing of medical instruments.
Dilute Asepti Release Plus into a sink of warm water between 30-50 ̊C at 4-12 mL per litre.
For moderate and heavily soiled items and orthopaedic sets dilute at 8-12 mL per litre into warm water.
Allow to soak for 10-30 minutes and then brush clean.

Ultrasonic Cleaning

It is ideal for use in ultrasonic baths and does not promote bacterial growth for up to 24 hours.
For ultrasonic applications, dose Asepti Release Plus at 4-12 mL per litre.
Set bath temperature to 40-55°C.
Asepti Release Plus is supplied with a manual pump. Refer to Ecolab’s dispensing bulletin for dispenser options.

Endoscope Pre-Cleaning and Cleaning

Prepare a fresh solution for each scope by diluting Asepti Release Plus at 4-12 mL per litre at 30-50 °C, depending on the level of soil.
Soak disposable cloth in Asepti Release Plus bath and wipe away visible soil from the insertion tube endoscope exterior.
Place biopsy tip into Asepti Release Plus solution and aspirate enzymatic detergent through suction/biopsy channel.
Remove tip from bath and alternate the suctioning of air and enzymatic detergent until expelled solution is visibly clean.
Completely immerse the endoscope in the Asepti Release Plus bath.
Whilst immersed brush all channels and exterior surfaces and then flush and fill all channels with Asepti Release Plus solution.
Rinse scope, channels and removable parts with water to remove all detergent residues prior to disinfection.
Discard all used solutions and materials.
