50 years of protecting laboratory personnel
Erlab is celebrating 50 years this year, a milestone of inventing, engineering and manufacturing chemical filtration products to protect laboratory personnel.
Safety was the prime motivation and founding spirit of Francois P Hauville in 1968, in which he invented and introduced the first ductless filtering fume hood. 50 years on, Erlab has been manufacturing and selling laboratory and air filtration equipment all over the world.
To celebrate, Erlab invited employees, customers and business partners to the company’s headquarters in Val de Reuil, France for an active experience of memories through the decades, including a tour of the manufacturing facility and gala dinner at the historic Chateau D’Ageronne in Normandy, France.
During the celebrations, Stephane Hauville, CEO commented Erlab were very excited about their future as the company continues to innovate, engineering and manufacture safety devices to protect laboratory personnel from breathing dangerous chemical fumes.
The Erlab philosophy has been to always focus on the safety of the chemist and are dedicated to innovating chemical filtration products; used in analytical, education, medical and research labs around the world.
